Under the SampleAssurance model: stock samples flow through the QC hub and a full-angle tamper-proof video is recorded. This part is included in the SampleAssurance benefits and is not charged as a separate QC service fee.
The items below are optional add-on services and storage fees. They are charged only when the buyer actively selects them, or when the free storage period is exceeded.

Scope: these storage rules apply to samples held at the domestic QC hub under SampleAssurance.
Per PRD business rule No. 19: the SampleAssurance platform service fee is $0.
1. The buyer pays:
Three-line pricing, charged once: the checkout page lists sample value, domestic shipping and the inspection & shooting fee as three separate lines with a stated total, collected only once at order time. Once the QC video and inspection summary are published the buyer can watch them directly — the platform sets no paywall, unlock fee or additional charge in the "video ready" notification or any other step.
Inspection & shooting fee schedule (charged once per order):
Refund rule: the fee is deemed incurred as soon as unboxing filming starts and is not refunded whether the buyer accepts the sample or requests a return; if the order is cancelled or terminated before unboxing it is refunded in full (the filming timestamp is the boundary). The inspection & shooting fee and the platform matching service fee are two separate line items; the platform matching service fee is always $0.
2. Fund rules:
The sample security deposit is a monetary guarantee, not a platform service fee. Custom sampling (contract manufacturing or private label), repackaged samples and logo-printed samples are not eligible for SampleAssurance.
PRD constraint: we do not build our own logistics or forwarding services; we only work with third-party logistics providers.
Third-party return shipping note: if the supplier is from 1688 or another third-party business platform, return shipping liability follows that platform's official public rules. When the buyer is judged to bear the return shipping cost, we may provide links to the third-party platform's rules for reference. Our platform does not replace the original trading platform in determining the responsibilities of buyers and suppliers.
Online functions for bulk orders, project orders, logistics quotations and freight settlement are not open at this stage; the related fee schedule will be published separately before those features launch. The platform currently provides the sample-purchase loop only. After a sample is confirmed, buyers who wish to discuss bulk orders may book a video call and our team will handle it manually.

In case of a refund dispute, we can assist with coordination and, when necessary, provide links to the third-party platform's official rules for reference; final rights and obligations are also governed by the rules of the supplier's original platform.
